  • AWD Dance

    Our dances for Adults with Disabilities are a great way to get out of the house, meet up with friends and shake your tail feathers! Each dance will have a seasonal theme, with a delicious catered meal and non-alcoholic beverages included. Menu is subject to change. Music is provided by North Star Entertainment. Everyone in attendance, including staff members, must purchase a ticket for admission to the dance. "Pay at the Door" is not available.     If you haven’t dipped your toes in the water lately, this is a great time to get started. Enjoy the quiet, weather-proof, uncrowded lanes of our lap swim in a kid-free environment! Adult lap swim is open for anyone ages 18+ who can swim independently. This is a non-instructional, swim at your own pace opportunity, but structured swim workouts will also be provided by our aquatics manager, MaKenna Olson. These will be optional, and posted for your use. A certified lifeguard will be on site at all times. Registration is required and space is limited, so sign up today! There are a variety of payment options and prices, including monthly, daily (punch card provided after registration), or all sessions in a season. Choose your option during the checkout process.   • Adult League Volleyball 2024-2025

    This is an adult volleyball league with different levels of competition offered to men, women and co-ed teams. There are two levels of play offered. The levels are described as follows: In the casual play league overhand serving NEEDS to be approved by both teams prior to play; In the power play league overhand serving is allowed at ALL times. Please note: If not enough teams (minimum 4 teams per level) are not registered, casual and power leagues will be combined, and overhand serving will be determined by teams. So please encourage friends to join, so eveyone has competiors at their level! League play is held in the evenings, with varied schedules based on number of teams registered. Schedule information will be shared upon registration completion. Basic times and locations are shown in the enrollment information, but is subject to change. League rules will be provided to all team captains to distribute. Click here for league rules This is an adult volleyball league. PLEASE DO NOT BRING CHILDREN TO GAMES. Teams will be asked to forfeit if this occurs. Community Services provides volleyballs, however, outside volleyballs are permitted. Food and beverages are not allowed in the gym spaces, but water bottles are allowed.

Each month will be registered for separately, so kids can sign up for one or more. Stay tuned shortly before the month begins for information about the specific theme and activity for that month's class!

  • CDL - Commercial Driver's License THEORY

    STANDARD IN-PERSON CLASS Driving a Commercial Motor Vehicle (CMV) requires a higher level of knowledge, experience, skills, and physical abilities than that required to drive a non-commercial vehicle. In order to obtain a Commercial Driver's License (CDL), an applicant must pass both skills and knowledge testing geared to these higher standards. This class will provide the classroom portion of the CDL endorsement steps. In this course you have the opportunity to learn the basic operation of a CDL vehicle, pre-trip inspection, safe operating procedures, advance operating procedures, vehicle systems and malfunctions, and non-driving activities. Class time will include CDL simulator time. This is a very reading and classwork intensive class. A licensed instructor will be available for assistance, questions and to implement simulator time. Students do NOT need to be present at all scheduled hours of the class periods, but may attend all hours if needed or desired. Students ARE required to attend the first day of class to get registered and to obtain all course material. At that time, you can decide what hours you will attend in person. After students complete their ELDT (Entry Level Driver's Training), you will need to complete behind the wheel independently. No behind the wheel training will be given as part of this class. Resources for this will be shared by the instructor. If your future includes needing a CDL endorsement, this course not only helps you gain the knowledge you will need to become licensed, but will save you a significant amount of money. Requirements to register for this class: 18 years or older Hold a current class 'D' or higher MN driver's license Ability to pass clean D.O.T. drug test at time of licensing Computer or similar and internet access (if you do not have access, instructor will accommodate your needs - please answer questions uring enrollment process) FEDERAL 'EXPRESS' PACKAGE This class will bring you through the Federal registration requirements that need to be met for obtaining your theory signoff. You will complete the classwork independently, and a licensed instructor will sign off on courseowrk completion and assist with online registration.     Join us for a morning of painting and relaxation. You’ll be guided, step-by-step, through a dot painting process as you create a mandala on a 4x4 canvas. After that you’ll enjoy a peaceful experience where you’ll be immersed in the soothing sounds of crystal singing bowls. This morning is dedicated to help quiet the mind and promote a greater sense of wellbeing. Take this time for YOU! No artistic abilities necessary. Bring a yoga mat or blanket for the sound healing session. Facilitators: Ashley Nieland and Angela Seutter
