  • Art with Heart

    Art classes aren't just for the big kids anymore! Join our art instructor at the Early Childhood Center to explore paint, sculpture, color, form and more. Each month will offer a one or two-day series of classes that will focus on a different art style and medium, and will focus on age-appropriate skills. Each month will be registered for separately, so register for one or more. Stay tuned shortly before the month begins for information about the specific theme and activity for that month's class! This will be a separating class, where participants will attend without parent support. If you feel your child is not ready for this experience, please wait to register them until a later date.
  • Junior Victory League JVL

    This is a casual play league, emphasizing fun and team sportsmanship. It is an age-based league, and players outside of the guidelines will not be allowed to register or participate. Players will be put on teams based on the date the registration form is received at Community Services and the number of coaches. Teams will be limited to 13 players. If there are too many players and not enough coaches, the players who signed up last will not be able to get on a team. Registrations will not be accepted if the teams are full. Parent volunteer coaches are needed. Please call Community Services if you are willing to coach and want more information. We don't want to turn kids away! Practice times will vary according to coach schedules. Schedules will be sent to families after registration is closed. Please be patient, as we are trying to get our coaches the best information possible! Parents must transport students to away games all located within a short distance locally (ex. Royalton, Pierz, Sobieski, etc.). Includes T-shirt - UPDATE YOUR ATHLETE'S T-SHIRT SIZE, OR WE CANNOT GUARANTEE A UNIFORM T-SHIRT FOR THEM.
  • Spring Youth Basketball

    Join the Flyer Varsity Basketball staff to improve your basketball skills. These workouts will focus on the development of fundamentals. Players will spend a majority of the time working with coaches on various drills geared toward player development. There will also be an emphasis on learning offensive and defensive principles through a variety of drills and games.
  • Pitching Warm-up

    Pitchers will work on the windmill technique, and learn drills they can work on while at home or on their own. It will be beneficial for pitchers to find their own catcher to work with them during instruction. Catchers who attend will get an opportunity to work on catching skills during pitching drills, and catchers do not pay a user fee.
  • Clay Target League

    The USA High School Clay Target League is an independent provider of shooting sports as an extracurricular co-ed and adaptive activity for students in grades 6 through 12. The organization’s priorities are safety, fun, and marksmanship – in that order. The League attracts student athletes that have earned their firearm safety certification to participate in shooting sports while creating a “virtual” competition among high school teams. Schedules for participants are listed in separate time brackets - Middle School will be bused to the site directly after school if needed. High School students are responsible for their own transportation. All scheduled dates are subject to change. Changes will be sent by coaching staff or Community Services. There will be a parent/athlete meeting scheduled at the High School prior to the start of the season. More information will be sent in regards to the meeting at a later date. This meeting is mandatory for all new participants and parents. Athletes must provide their Firearms Safety Certificate at the meeting. Participants must also register online through the Minnesota Trap League website at: https://mn.usaclaytarget.com/
  • Golf - Grade 6

    6th grade boys and girls will join the 7th and 8th Graders for golf practices. This class is designed to teach golf participants the skills and techniques necessary to improve their game. Because of Granite Ridge Conference Rules, 6th grade students will not participate in scheduled Golf Meets. Dates may be adjusted due to course conditions. There will be a student athlete meeting at the Middle School in Bob Stark's classroom Tuesday, April 2nd to discuss expectations, equipment, rules & regulations, schedule, etc. Students will be bused to the Little Falls Country Club - Bus # is yet to be determined. Parents, pick your child up promptly by 5 pm at the Little Falls Country Club.
  • Spring Tennis

    Participants will be taught the drills and skills necessary to improve tennis techniques and become a better player. There will be plenty of game time and fun! Students in grades 4 - 8 from the area may register for after school tennis and join instructors Julie LaFlamme and Greg Spofford at the Middle School Tennis Courts. Parents, pick your child up promptly at 4:30 pm at the Middle School Tennis Courts.
  • Spring Softball Clinic

    Young athletes will get a chance to develop hitting, pitching, catching, fielding, and outfield skills. This will happen through a variety of drills, games and fun! Players in the travel association are highly encouraged to register and participate as practice time. Participants should meet the instructor at door #1 of Lincoln Elementary and ALL participants will walk to the gym or Lincoln practice fields together. Parents will pick their athletes up behind Lincoln Elementary, next to the playground.
  • Softball - Grade 6

    6th grade girls will join the 7th and 8th Graders for Middle School softball. Schedules and locations may be adjusted due to weather conditions. Those changes will be communicated to athletes through the coach.
  • Toddler Time in the Gym

    A safe and nurturing environment where your child can learn and grow alongside their peers, with you providing essential support and encouragement. Watch as your child develops new motor skills while taking supervised, yet exciting, risks. This program is designed to foster your child's physical, mental, social, and emotional development, all within a comfortable, encouraging environment. Your child will have the opportunity to practice various motor skills like walking, running, jumping, and learn fun skills such as monkey jumps, donkey kicks, and forward rolls. We'll also delve into concepts like colors, numbers, rhythm, and spatial awareness (over, under, around, through). Additionally, your child will learn to listen and follow directions with your support while playing with new friends. We create a comfortable and engaging environment for exploration by incorporating a diverse selection of materials including balls, bubbles, rhythm sticks, parachutes, beanbags, scarves, hula hoops, as well as safe equipment like bars, beams, incline mats, and barrel mats. As a parent or guardian, your participation, positive feedback, and support play a crucial role in your child's exploration. The more you actively participate and model behavior in class, the more comfortable your child will feel exploring and learning alongside you or independently. Children look up to the adults in their lives to learn how to feel and act. Therefore, we emphasize providing positive feedback through smiles, claps, hugs, reassurance, and patience, while holding little expectations for your child during class.
  • Summer Youth Basketball

    Come and see what dance is all about. Youth in the Little Falls, Royalton, Pillager or any nearby school districts can participate. Even if you have little to no dance experience, that's ok! You will learn new dance skills or improve your endurance, strength and flexibility with proper dance technique, all taught by members of the Lindy's Dance Team!
  • Lindy's Dance Team Summer League

    The Little Falls Dance Team is offering summer dance again! This is open to all students going into 7-12th grades in Little Falls, Royalton and Pillager school districts who are either on the team or have an interest in joining the LFDT Winter dance team. Even if you have little to no dance experience, that's ok? We accept ALL skill levels and will work with athletes to help each individual become a stronger, more skilled dancer. We will work on building endurance, strength, flexibility, improving skills and proper dance technique.
  • Softball Training Camp

    Athletes will get a chance to develop hitting, pitching, catching, fielding, and outfield skills with high school coaches and players. 10U and 12U players are highly encouraged to register and participate as practice time. T-shirt is included in registration fee - update the participant's t-shirt size!
  • Summer Olympic Weightlifting

    Weightlifting is a tremendous sport and is extremely beneficial to athletic performance and the health of the body. Some of the physical benefits are improved confidence, changes in body composition, the importance of taking care of the body, setting and challenging personal records, and managing stress and pressure. The Summer weightlifting program will focus on additional training for athletes participating in Olympic Weightlifting during the school year, as well as serious lifters who are interested in direct instruction of safe and proper techniques of the associated movements. expectations are that this will not be a 'free lifting' time, but a directed program. All instruction is coached by a certified USA Weightlifting Advanced Weightlifting and Sports Performance Coach, so your athlete will get the highest level of training available!

  • Individual Band Lesson - June

    Summertime can be a great opportunity for students to 'catch-up' in their lesson books, switch to a different instrument, or learn a new instrument. It is a time for kids to prepare for their first year in Wind Symphony or High School Band, or just have fun playing new music and getting better with their instrument! Youth simply enjoy band more when they are able to play their instrument better. Summer is a perfect time to take one's ability to the next level with individual lessons!
  • High School Workouts

    This class is ONLY for those who participated on the High School team during the previous gymnastics season. It is designed to complement high school gymnastics with Summer conditioning, and is instructed by the Varsity coaching staff.
  • Skin Care 101

    Teens will learn everything they need to know to develop a healthy relationship with their skin in this class. Do you have have problematic skin? Does your skin vary from season to season and with different activities? Learn the basics, and take your routine to the next level with knowledge of ingredients in a variety of products to see what you should and shouldn't be using on your skin. During this class products from the Mary Kay brand will be used. This is not a solicitation for purchases. There will be 90 minutes of direct instruction, followed by 30 minutes of questions and exploration of different products. Everyone should bring a water bottle or another beverage and a mthod to hold back your hair (hair tie or headband.)
  • Kids in the Kitchen - Summer Edition!

    Let's get the kids in the kitchen!! This two-day series will focus on kitchen and food safety, meal prep and pre-cooking on day one. Day two will finish with cooking, learning table etiquette and enjoying a meal together in a family-style setting. We will make some delicious snacks and meals, encouraging the 'foodie' in your young chef!
  • Babysitting 101

    Babysitting 101 This course is best suited for 10 to 13-year-olds interested in learning the current practices of caring for young children and how to manage their babysitting business. Students will learn safety and injury prevention, first aid basics, feeding and caring for infants and how to handle behavior problems. Students receive a reference book, handouts, babysitting bag and first aid kit.
  • Pre-K T-ball

    Preschool students will be introduced to the game of T-ball. The basic skills will be taught along with lots of fun! Participants should bring their own glove, we will have a few extra gloves for those who may not have one. Soft baseballs will be used. Class will be held on the practice field area just South of Lindbergh Elementary school. Parents' help is welcomed!
  • Munchkins

    Your child will be taught the basic fundamentals of gymnastics and tumbling on all apparatus (vault, bars, beam, and floor) by participating in skill stations. Emphasis will be placed on coordination, movement and stretching. Students MUST be potty trained.
  • Twisters

    This program is for students who have had previous experience in gymnastics, passed the Flips class and/or are retaking the Twisters class. There will be a focus on: VAULT: Handstand Vault Over Vaulting Table, Idea of Half on Vault Station with One Spotter. BARS: Kip, Idea of Clear Hip with Block, Flyaway with Spot, Back Hip Circle On High Bar, Squat on Jump to High Bar, Cast to Madcap Position, Straddle Up Handstand on Floor, Idea of Connecting Skills BEAM: Cartwheel and Handstands on High Beam, Back Walkover with Spot, Leap with Mat, Split/Wolf Jumps, Back Tuck Dismount with Spot, Full Turn on High Beam, Spring Board Mount FLOOR: Round Off Back Handspring Connection, Front Handspring, Front Tuck Off Springboard, Switch Leap, Full Twisting Jumps, Full Handstand Pirouette, Two Connected Superior Leaps/Jumps, Idea of Round Off One and Tuck Drill PLEASE NOTE: Your child's skill level will be assessed during their first class period. The lead instructor will determine if the child is equipped to complete the class. If the instructor deems their skill level too low for this program, Community Services will offer a full refund after the first class and will not be able to guarantee a spot in the flips class. Per the instructor request, parents need to leave the gymnastics space during practice routines. Other children not enrolled in the ongoing class are not allowed in the gymnastics space. It is a safety hazard and we are not responsible for extra children in or around the space.
