This Culinary STEM class is designed for people to learn some Biology and Chemistry concepts as well as learn cooking techniques. We will be making an edible craft: Edible DNA. Let's have some fun while we cook, eat and learn about DNA and Genetics!

Lead Instructor

Charlene Bzdok is a licensed educator with over 25 years of experience teaching science in a classroom setting. During her career, she’s taught a diverse selection of topics—including biology, math, chemistry, entomology, bird ecology, life science, physics, and more. In addition to her work in classrooms across Minnesota—working with students from different cultures and backgrounds—she’s also taught abroad in Kathmandu, Nepal.
Today, she organizes a range of community education courses to help students across over 30 school districts discover the basic principles of science, technology, physics, and of course baking and cake pop decoration.Â
