Adult Lap SwimRecreationalIf you haven’t dipped your toes in the water lately, this is a great time to get started. Enjoy the quiet, weather-proof, uncrowded lanes of our lap swim in a kid-free environment! Adult lap swim is open for anyone ages 18+ who can swim independently. This is a non-instructional, swim at your own pace opportunity, but structured swim workouts will also be provided by our aquatics manager, Jayda Alholm. These will be optional, and posted for your use. A certified lifeguard will be on site at all times.Registration is required and space is limited, so sign up today!There are a variety of payment options and prices. Led by the Sartell Figure Skating Club coaches, skaters will work on balance, confidence, and fundamental skating skills such as stopping, turning, and forward and backward skating. Instruction is adapted to each skater’s comfort and ability in a supportive, fun environment. This is a great opportunity to get out, stay active, and spend time with friends in a relaxed setting. Transportation will be provided by van to and from Nisswa. This camp is designed for skaters who are comfortable on the ice and ready to build on their skills. Led by the Sartell Figure Skating Club (SFSC) coaches, skaters will focus on improving balance, control, and confidence while learning stronger forward and backward skating, stops, turns, and introductory figure skating skills. Instruction is grouped by ability to ensure each skater is challenged at an appropriate level in a positive and encouraging environment. Skaters should plan to bring their own skates or plan to rent hockey skates from the Scheels Athletic Complex.
