Running 101: Get fit this Spring. Reduce stress, lower your BMI and meet new people by joining Running 101. We'll take you through the steps to get started and improve your current fitness. No experience is necessary. This program includes not only running and walking, but adds exercises for strength, mobility and flexibility. Participants start with walking and jogging. By the end of the program, you will be able to complete a 5K run. You should be able to walk 20 minutes comfortably before class begins.
Running 201: Run your way to a healthier you! This class takes Running 101 a step further. Participants begin with jogging and progress to longer miles. Speed training, exercises for strength, mobility and flexibility are also introduced. You may be able to complete a 10K at the end of this program. You should be able to jog 20 minutes comfortably before the class begins.
Class may change location for variety in routes/workout, which will be communicated by the instructor.
Class fee includes a T-shirt and workout book!
