This is an introductory class for participants with no experience or for those who have been out of gymnastics for a year or more. There will be a focus on:

VAULT: Running, Under Arm Swing, Hurdle, Hollow Body, Tuck Up Vault
BARS: Re-Grip Hand Position, Hollow Cast Bops, Pull Overs, Glides for Kips, Straight Leg Swings, Conditioning
BEAM: High Toe, Body Tightness, Grapevine, Basic Jumps, Jump Off Dismounts, Levers and Handstands
FLOOR: Body Positions (Hollow, Pike, Tuck, Lay-Out), Forward and Backward Rolls, Shapes of Jumps, Cartwheel to Feet Bridge Kick Over, Round Off

Per instructor request, parents and siblings are not allowed in the gymnastics area during instruction time. 

PLEASE NOTE: Your child's skill level will be assessed during their first class period. The lead instructor will determine if the child is equipped to complete the class. If the instructor deems their skill level too high for this program, Community Services will offer a full refund after the first class. At that time, you can enroll your athlete into a higher level based on the instructor's recommendation if there are spots available.

**FOR THE 7:45-8:45am beginner session, there is NO TRANSPORTATION from or to SCHOOL AGE CHILD CARE.
