Magic: The Gathering Commander Night

Welcome to Magic: The Gathering Commander Night! Whether you're a seasoned planeswalker or new to the world of Magic, this is the perfect opportunity to dive into the exciting format of Commander (also known as EDH).

What is Magic: The Gathering? Magic: The Gathering (MTG) is a strategy card game where players assume the roles of powerful wizards, known as Planeswalkers, who battle each other using decks of cards representing spells, creatures, and artifacts. The game combines strategic deck-building with tactical gameplay, offering a rich and dynamic experience.

What is Commander? Commander is a popular format within MTG that emphasizes creative deck-building and fun, casual play. Each Commander deck is built around a legendary creature or planeswalker, known as the "Commander," and contains exactly 100 cards, including a diverse mix of spells and creatures. The unique deck-building rules and the emphasis on multiplayer games make Commander a fantastic way to enjoy MTG with friends.

Who Can Join? Our Commander Night welcomes players of all skill levels! Whether you’re an experienced commander of your deck or a complete newcomer, you’ll find a friendly and supportive community ready to play and share their knowledge.

What to Bring? Feel free to bring your own Commander deck and materials. If you’re new to the game or don’t have a deck yet, no problem! We provide decks and supplies for you to use during the event.

Inclusivity: We pride ourselves on creating an inclusive and welcoming environment for everyone. All players, regardless of background or experience, are encouraged to join and enjoy the game in a respectful and fun atmosphere.

When and Where? Join us every other Tuesday from 6pm-8:30pm at the Community Services Building located at 14800 Riverwood Drive. The entire schedule is listed here - join one night, or sign up for the entire series!

Come explore the realm of Magic: The Gathering Commander Night, where every match is a new adventure. See you there!
