Softball Basics: Building Softball Skills for K-2 Players!

Ready to step up to the plate? Softball Basics is designed for young athletes in Kindergarten through 2nd grade who are ready to advance their skills in a fun and supportive environment. This program works on basic fundamentals.
In this class, kids will participate in interactive drills, skill-building challenges, and modified scrimmage exercises to put their growing abilities into action.
Each session will focus on:
⚾ Hitting with Power & Accuracy – Players will work on proper batting stance, swing mechanics, and hand-eye coordination to make solid contact with the ball.
🥎 Throwing & Catching Fundamentals – Improved throwing techniques and catching confidence will be emphasized to develop strong defensive skills.
🏃 Base Running & Game Awareness – Kids will learn when to run and how to round the bases efficiently.
🧤 Fielding Techniques – Introduction to proper fielding mechanics, including ready position, glove work, and reacting to ground balls.
🤝 Teamwork & Sportsmanship – Through small-group drills and team-based challenges, players will learn communication skills, teamwork, and positive competition.
