Little Sluggers: A Fun Introduction to Baseball Skills! (Recommended age 36-48 months)

Welcome to Little Sluggers, the perfect class for preschoolers to develop the fundamental skills they’ll need before stepping up to the plate! Designed for our youngest athletes, this engaging and playful program focuses on movement, coordination, and basic baseball & softball skills—without the pressure of playing games.
Each session is packed with fun activities that help kids build confidence, balance, and agility while developing key motor skills essential for future success. Through creative games, obstacle courses, and interactive drills, children will learn how to:
⚾ Grip & Swing the Bat – Kids will practice proper hand placement and swinging mechanics using soft, lightweight equipment.
🏃 Run, Jump & Change Direction – Agility-focused activities will help them develop quick footwork and body control, perfect for running the bases in the future!
🧤 Introduction to Catching & Throwing – Using soft balls, kids will work on hand-eye coordination and the basics of throwing and catching.
🤝 Follow Instructions & Work as a Team – Through group activities and playful challenges, children will build social skills, take turns, and listen to simple directions.
🎉 Have Fun & Stay Active! – Most importantly, we’ll keep them moving, laughing, and excited to come back each week!

Next Level Sluggers: Advancing Baseball & Softball Skills Through Play! (Recommended age 48-60 months)

Ready to take the next step? Next Level Sluggers is the perfect class for preschoolers who have mastered the basics and are ready to build on their foundational baseball skills! This program introduces more structured activities while keeping the focus on fun, movement, and teamwork.
In this engaging class, kids will refine their coordination, ball-handling skills, and game awareness through exciting drills and interactive challenges. While we won’t be playing full games just yet, players will start to experience more baseball-like activities, learning how to use their skills in a team setting.
Each session will focus on:
⚾ Swinging with Control & Power – Kids will refine their bat grip, stance, and swing motion.
🥎 Throwing & Catching Fundamentals – Players will work on improving their catching skills with age-appropriate drills.
🏃 Speed, Agility & Coordination – Through fun races, obstacle courses, and reaction drills, players will develop quicker footwork and body awareness.
🤝 Teamwork & Listening Skills – Children will begin working together in small groups, learning how to take turns, follow simple strategies, and communicate with teammates.
🎉 Mini Baseball Challenges! – While we won’t be playing baseball or softball games, kids will participate in fun activities that simulate real baseball situations.

Parents' help is welcomed! If you are able to run the sessions that your child is part of (with our youth instructors there as well) we will refund your child's registration fee.
