Little Kickers: A Fun Introduction to Soccer Skills! (Recommended age 36-48 months)
Welcome to Little Kickers, the perfect class for preschoolers to develop the foundational skills they’ll need before stepping onto the soccer field! Designed for our youngest athletes, this engaging and playful program focuses on movement, coordination, and basic ball-handling skills—without the pressure of 'playing soccer'.
Each session is packed with fun activities that help kids build confidence, balance, and agility while developing key motor skills essential for future soccer success.
Through creative games, obstacle courses, and interactive drills, children will learn how to:
⚽ Dribble & Control – Kids will practice moving the ball with their feet using fun, simple exercises designed to improve coordination.
🏃 Run, Jump & Change Direction – Agility-focused activities will help them develop quick footwork and body control.
🤝 Follow Instructions & Work as a Team – Through group activities and playful challenges, kids will build social skills, take turns, and work together.
🎉 Have Fun & Stay Active! – Most importantly, we’ll keep them moving, laughing, and excited to come back each week!
This program is all about creating a love for movement and soccer in a way that’s developmentally appropriate for preschoolers. Whether your child is eager to play soccer in the future or just looking for a fun way to stay active, Little Kickers is the perfect first step!

Next Level Kickers: Building Soccer Skills Through Play! (Recommeded age 48-60 months)
Ready to take the next step? Next Level Kickers is the perfect class for preschoolers who have mastered the basics and are ready to build on their foundational soccer skills! This program is designed to introduce more structured soccer activities while keeping the focus on fun, movement, and teamwork.
In this engaging class, kids will refine their coordination, ball control, and game awareness through drills and interactive challenges. While we won’t be playing full games just yet, players will start to experience more soccer-like activities, learning how to use their skills in a team setting.
Each session will focus on:
⚽ Dribbling with Control & Confidence – Kids will practice keeping the ball close while moving, changing directions, and avoiding obstacles.
🥅 Passing & Shooting – We’ll introduce simple passing techniques and work on aiming and striking the ball.
🏃 Speed, Agility & Coordination – Through fun races, obstacle courses, and reaction drills, players will develop quicker footwork and body awareness.
🤝 Teamwork & Listening Skills – Children will begin working together in small groups, learning how to take turns, follow simple directions.
🎉 Mini Soccer Challenges! – While we won’t be playing full games, kids will participate in fun, small-sided activities that simulate real soccer situations.
Next Level Kickers is the perfect bridge between introductory soccer and youth skills clinics, ensuring kids continue to develop their love for the sport in a playful, supportive environment. Whether your child is eager to advance their skills or just loves to run, kick, and play, this class is a fantastic next step!

Join us for an exciting season of fun, fitness, and foundational soccer skills!

Practices will take place on the South side practice fields of Lindbergh Elementary School. Instructors will reserve the right to assess the skills of your player and move them into a more appropriate section of the class. We want every to be as successful as possible!

Parents' help is welcomed! If you are able to run the sessions that your child is part of (with our youth instructors there as well) we will refund your child's registration fee. Please indicate if you are open to this option during the registration process, and someone from Community Services will reach out to you.
