The USA High School Clay Target League is an independent provider of shooting sports as an extracurricular co-ed and adaptive activity for students in grades 6 through 12. The organization’s priorities are safety, fun, and marksmanship – in that order. The League attracts student athletes that have earned their firearm safety certification to participate in shooting sports while creating a “virtual” competition among high school teams. Schedules for participants are listed in separate time brackets - Middle School will be bused to the site directly after school if needed. High School students are responsible for their own transportation. All scheduled dates are subject to change. Changes will be sent by coaching staff or Community Services, via TeamReach or text. There will be a parent/athlete meeting scheduled at the High School prior to the start of the season. The current schedule for the parent meeting is March 12th, 6-7 p.m. at the Middle School Media Center. This meeting is mandatory for all new participants and parents. Athletes must provide their Firearms Safety Certificate at the meeting. There will be a mandatory new athlete orientation Saturday, March 15th at Rice Creek. This is for ALL new athletes, Middle and High School. Participants must also register online through the Minnesota Trap League website at: https://mn.usaclaytarget.com/ Registration ends March 24th, with NO exceptions. Registration cost on usaclay is $40.00. This is a separate fee from the team registration. Call Community Services at 320.632.7902 with questions.
