ECFE Drop & Play offers a safe, welcoming space where your child can play, explore, and connect while you take care of what you need. Designed for children ages 0–7, this drop-off playtime is supervised by an experienced Early Childhood staff member along with a trained high school assistant. During the two-hour session, children will enjoy a variety of age-appropriate toys, activities, and free play in a nurturing, structured environment. ECFE Park, Play & SplashDaytime ClassesPark, Play & Splash Join us for a fun-filled outdoor adventure designed for families with children ages 0–7! Park, Play & Splash is all about exploring, moving, and connecting in a relaxed, natural setting. Each week, we’ll gather at the Twitchel Park pavilion to enjoy engaging activities like group games, sensory play, storytime, and creative exploration—perfect for curious little learners. After class, families are invited to continue the fun at the nearby splash pad—an optional way to cool off and connect with others! ECFE+1Daytime ClassesECFE+1 Age Group: 3-year-olds Overview: ECFE+1 is a unique early childhood class designed for families who want to provide their 3-year-old with additional classroom experience and socialization opportunities. This program blends the supportive, parent-child engagement of Early Childhood Family Education (ECFE) with the structured learning environment of a traditional preschool. Class Structure: Parent & Child Day (Tuesdays): Once per week, parents attend with their child for an interactive ECFE session. This time includes guided play, early learning activities, and a parenting discussion facilitated by an early childhood educator. Parents will gain insights into child development and strategies to support learning at home. Preschool Day (Thursday): On the second day each week, children attend independently, experiencing a preschool-style classroom with hands-on activities, peer interactions, and foundational learning experiences that build social-emotional and early academic skills. Friday AMDaytime ClassesFriday Friends: Let's play! This class is designed to give your child the opportunity to connect with others through play. This class takes place in an environment specifically designed for little ones and provides them the opportunity to practice their budding social and emotional skills. This is a separating class for children and parents. The parent group is facilitated by a licensed parent educator, parents will learn how to support the skills necessary for children to thrive in social situations. Registration Information:Please register one child using the sliding fee scale based on your household income. This covers the entire family—there’s no additional fee for siblings attending the same class. However, please register any additional children (second, third, or fourth) using the $0.00 option so we have accurate class rosters. All families are welcome!No one is turned away due to an inability to pay. To help make our program accessible to everyone, we use a sliding fee scale.
