Running 101: Get fit this spring by joining Running 101. We'll take you through the steps to get started and improve your current fitness. Walk and run your way to a healthier you! No experience is necessary. This program includes not only running and walking, but adds exercises for strength, mobility and flexibility. Participants start with walking and jogging. By the end of the program, you will be able to complete a 5K run. You should be able to walk 20 minutes comfortably before class begins.Running 101 participants are invited to participate in optional workouts on Wednesdays.Class may change location for variety in routes/workout, which will be communicated by the instructor.Class fee includes workout calendar and T-shirt! Running 201:Walk and run your way to a healthier you! This class takes Running 101 a step further. Participants begin with jogging, progress to longer miles, and are introduced to other forms of speed training. You may be able to complete a 10K at the end of this program.
