Classes will meet for three hours each class session. Students enrolling in Classroom Driver's Education should be within 2 months of turning 15 by the end of the last date of the Driver's Education Class. Students MUST BE 15 in order to take the permit test. PLEASE NOTE THE CHANGES TO THE PAYMENT PROCESS. THE REGISTRATION FEE HOLDS YOUR PARTICIPANTS' SPOT IN THE CLASS. THE REMAINING CLASS FEE AND BEHIND-THE-WHEEL COSTS REQUIRE PAYMENT DIRECTLY TO MILLE LACS DRIVING INSTRUCTION. 2026 FEE SCHEDULE IS $125 FOR CLASSROOM EDUCATION, AND $320 FOR BEHIND-THE-WHEEL. Attendance of all 30 hours of classroom instruction. NO behavioral issues during class time, prior to class start within the building, or during breaks. If behaviors occur, the instructor OR Community Services staff reserves the right to expel students from the course, which will result in forfeiture of fees. Completion of ALL classroom in-class work and homework. Full payment of $125 Mille Lacs Driving Instruction course fee at start of first class date.
