Level 3GymnasticsLevel three: for gymnasts who have passed level 2. In this hour class, gymnasts will participate in a warm-up routine that helps them build their strength and flexibility. Gymnasts will then split into small groups to work towards learning the skills and etiquette needed to compete in gymnastics. Some skills worked on in this class are: What a routine looks like on each event, how to start and end a routine, how to avoid deductions in a routine (to avoid creating bad habits while practicing). Vault: Handstand flatbacks onto Resi and start to handspring onto Resi. Bars: Pull Up / pull Over (without spot), Back-hip circles (without spot), begin working on glide kips / kip with spot), 3 taps swings in a row on the high bar, cast squat-on on the low bar (without Spot). Beam: Continue perfecting jumps on the medium/high beam, cartwheels on the medium/high beam, begin working on mounting the beam, and handstands on medium beam. Floor: Perfecting leaps and jumps with good form, cartwheels and round-offs with good form, backward rolls to hollow, back walkovers, back handsprings down an incline, and handstand to bridge or front walkovers2026 -

This class is for gymnasts in Kindergarten and older or those who have passed the Munchkin level. In this 45-minute class, gymnasts will warm up and stretch with a few fun songs. Gymnasts will then split into small groups to work with coaches to learn gymnastics skills on all four events. Some skills worked on in this class are: Vault: Pumping arms while running, tight body standing jumps and rebounds, and arm circles. Bars: Front support, hollow casts, pull overs, and beginning to learn a squat-on. Beam: Becoming more comfortable on the meduim/high beam by walking, kicking, and jumping. Floor: Straight jumps, forward rolls, backwards rolls, bridges, and beginning to learn a cartwheel.2026 -

Gymnasts will then split into small groups to work with coaches to learn gymnastics skills on all four events. Some skills worked on in this class are: Vault: Running with an arm circle/ hurdle, rebounds to a spotting block, jumping to a springboard with an arm circle. Bars: 2 pike glides in a row, re-grasp grips, pull-up/pullover (w/ Light Spot from Block), beginning to learn a back-hip circle, and continuing to perfect a squat-on, with a floor bar. Beam: Continue becoming comfortable on the medium/ high beam by jumping and pivoting. Start working on cartwheels on the laser beam. Floor: Learn the different kinds of jumps, perfect a straight leg bridge, and continue learning the basics of a good handstand and cartwheel.2026 -

Join us Wednesday mornings for Nature Learning at Linden Hill, a hands-on early childhood family education class designed to spark curiosity, creativity, and connection in the great outdoors. Led by the enthusiastic and nature-loving Ms. Claire, each session invites children and their grown-ups to explore seasonal themes through play, discovery, and shared learning experiences. From observing birds and bugs to exploring colors, letters, and the changing weather, this class blends nature-based exploration with early learning activities like art, sensory play, and simple STEM experiences. Families will enjoy a relaxed structure with time to explore, followed by a joyful group circle with stories, songs, and connection. Ages: 0-7 years (with a parent or caregiver) Instructor: Ms. Claire When: Wednesdays, 10:00–11:00 AM Where: Linden Hill Historic Estate, meet on the West side of the Pavilion Parent Participation: Required—this class is all about shared discovery! Registration: Required weekly unless full summer payment is made in advance Each class includes hands-on learning stations (art, sensory, and early learning activities), 40 minutes of guided free exploration, and a closing circle time with books, music, and group fun. June 10 – Birds: Flap, fly, and listen as we discover backyard birds through songs, feathers, and playful observation. June 24 – Colors: Discover the world in full color through vibrant art, sorting games, and outdoor scavenger fun. July 1 – Bugs: Get up close (but not too close!) with insects through observation, movement, and playful learning. July 29 – Letters: Bring letters to life with playful activities that connect literacy to the world around us.
