Led by the Sartell Figure Skating Club coaches, skaters will work on balance, confidence, and fundamental skating skills such as stopping, turning, and forward and backward skating. Instruction is adapted to each skater’s comfort and ability in a supportive, fun environment. Is your child interested in hockey, figure skating, or simply learning how to skate for fun? No matter the reason, there’s a place for them at our Intro to Skating Camp led by the experienced coaches of the Sartell Figure Skating Club (SFSC). Skaters will learn skating basics such as how to fall safely, get back up, and move confidently on the ice. Skaters should plan to bring their own skates or to rent hockey skates from the Scheels Athletic Complex. SFSC has a limited number of skates that can be borrowed on a first come first served basis. Advanced Beginner / Intermediate Skating CampYouth👉Register for this class between April 1, 2026 and May 29, 2026 and receive $15 off your registration fee!Discount happens at the time of checkout. This camp is designed for skaters who are comfortable on the ice and ready to build on their skills. Led by the Sartell Figure Skating Club (SFSC) coaches, skaters will focus on improving balance, control, and confidence while learning stronger forward and backward skating, stops, turns, and introductory figure skating skills. Instruction is grouped by ability to ensure each skater is challenged at an appropriate level in a positive and encouraging environment. Skaters should plan to bring their own skates or plan to rent hockey skates from the Scheels Athletic Complex.
