A 4-Part Series for the Everyday Homeowner

Trees add beauty, shade, and value to your home — but they can also become expensive problems if misunderstood.
This spring, join a local tree care professional for a practical, down-to-earth series designed for homeowners who want to confidently care for their own trees — and recognize when it’s time to call in help.

Each 90-minute session blends instruction, real-life examples, and live demonstrations. Attend one class that fits your needs, or register for all four and save. Beverages and light refreshments will be included!
No sales pitches. No scare tactics. Just solid information you can actually use in your own yard.

🌱 Class 1: Soil & Root Health

What’s Happening Underground Matters Most.
Most tree problems don’t start in the branches — they start in the soil.
If your tree looks stressed, the issue may be under your feet. This class focuses on the foundation of tree health and the simple changes homeowners can make that dramatically improve tree longevity.

🌳 Class 2: Tree Risk Assessment

Protect Your Property. Protect Your People. Think Ahead.
Not every imperfect tree is dangerous — but some warning signs shouldn’t be ignored.
In this practical session, you’ll learn how to evaluate your own trees with a thoughtful, level-headed approach. The goal isn’t fear — it’s informed decision-making.

🌿 Class 3: Tree Pruning

Cut Smart. Grow Strong. Avoid Costly Mistakes.
Pruning isn’t just about trimming branches — it’s about guiding a tree’s future.
In this hands-on session, you’ll learn how to shape young trees for long-term strength, clean up mature trees safely, and avoid the common pruning mistakes that lead to decay, weak growth, or unnecessary damage.

🌲 Class 4: To Be Announced

We’ll shape the final session based on participant interest from the first three classes. Possible topics may include:

  • Choosing the Right Tree for Your Yard
  • Seasonal Tree Care Planning
  • Storm Preparation & Recovery
  • Tree Care Mistakes to Avoid

We want this final class to reflect what you want to learn next.

Who Should Attend?

  • Homeowners with residential yard trees
  • DIY-minded property owners
  • Anyone who wants to avoid expensive mistakes
  • Those planning new landscaping or managing mature trees

No prior tree experience required — just curiosity and a willingness to learn. You’re about toget the kind of knowledge that saves marriages, garages, and maple trees. 🌳
