  • Balance and Beyond Gymnastics Class

    Balance & Beyond-Take 2! Pre-K is an energetic gymnastics class specially designed for 3- and 4-year-olds. Through fun activities like rolling, jumping, and swinging, kids will develop coordination, strength, and balance, helping to set the stage for future adventures! They will practice bar, beam, and tumbling skills in a playful setting that sparks their imagination with engaging group activities and familiar songs. This class nurtures physical, social, and cognitive growth, offering a supportive space where young gymnasts can build confidence while mastering new skills.
  • Twisters

    This program is for students who have had previous experience in gymnastics, passed the Flips class and/or are retaking the Twisters class. There will be a focus on: VAULT: Handstand Vault Over Vaulting Table, Idea of Half on Vault Station with One Spotter. BARS: Kip, Idea of Clear Hip with Block, Flyaway with Spot, Back Hip Circle On High Bar, Squat on Jump to High Bar, Cast to Madcap Position, Straddle Up Handstand on Floor, Idea of Connecting Skills BEAM: Cartwheel and Handstands on High Beam, Back Walkover with Spot, Leap with Mat, Split/Wolf Jumps, Back Tuck Dismount with Spot, Full Turn on High Beam, Spring Board Mount FLOOR: Round Off Back Handspring Connection, Front Handspring, Front Tuck Off Springboard, Switch Leap, Full Twisting Jumps, Full Handstand Pirouette, Two Connected Superior Leaps/Jumps, Idea of Round Off One and Tuck Drill PLEASE NOTE: Your child's skill level will be assessed during their first class period. The lead instructor will determine if the child is equipped to complete the class. If the instructor deems their skill level too low for this program, Community Services will offer a full refund after the first class and will not be able to guarantee a spot in the Flips class. Per the instructor request, parents need to leave the gymnastics space during practice routines. Other children not enrolled in the ongoing class are not allowed in the gymnastics space. It is a safety hazard and we are not responsible for extra children in or around the space.
