This class is for gymnasts in Kindergarten and older or those who have passed the Munchkin level. In this 45-minute class, gymnasts will warm up and stretch with a few fun songs. Gymnasts will then split into small groups to work with coaches to learn gymnastics skills on all four events. Some skills worked on in this class are: Vault: Pumping arms while running, tight body standing jumps and rebounds, and arm circles. Bars: Front support, hollow casts, pull overs, and beginning to learn a squat-on. Beam: Becoming more comfortable on the meduim/high beam by walking, kicking, and jumping. Floor: Straight jumps, forward rolls, backwards rolls, bridges, and beginning to learn a cartwheel.

This class will focus on speed, strength, body awareness, and tumbling skills.During this hour long class, participants will start with conditioning exercises and a stretching routine, and then will complete multiple obstacle courses focusing on different skills.

HYBRID CDL THEORY COURSE Driving a Commercial Motor Vehicle (CMV) requires a higher level of knowledge, experience, skills, and physical abilities than that required to drive a non-commercial vehicle. In order to obtain a Commercial Driver's License (CDL), an applicant must pass both skills and knowledge testing geared to these higher standards. This Hybrid CDL Theory Course provides the classroom portion of the CDL endorsement steps and satisfies all Entry Level Driver's Training (ELDT) theory requirements. Students will complete the required coursework independently, allowing for a flexible schedule and individualized pacing. In addition to independent coursework, students will participate in two required one-on-one instructional meetings with a licensed instructor. These sessions are held by appointment and provide personalized guidance, review of required content, and verification of coursework completion. Meeting locations will be determined by mutual agreement between the instructor and participant. Course content includes: Basic operation of a CDL vehicle Pre-trip inspection Safe operating procedures Advanced operating procedures Vehicle systems and malfunctions Non-driving activities This is a reading and coursework-intensive class. A licensed instructor will be available for assistance and questions throughout the process. After completing ELDT requirements, students must complete behind-the-wheel training independently. No behind-the-wheel training is provided as part of this course; however, resources will be shared by the instructor. If your future includes needing a CDL endorsement, this course provides the knowledge necessary to become licensed while offering a flexible, cost-effective training option. Requirements to Register: 18 years of age or older Hold a current Class "D" or higher Minnesota driver's license Ability to pass a clean D.O.T. drug test at time of licensing Computer (or similar device) and internet access FEDERAL "EXPRESS" PACKAGE This option remains a fully independent pathway designed to bring you through the Federal registration requirements necessary for obtaining your theory sign-off. The Child and Babysitting Safety (CABS) program from the American Safety and Health Institute provides everything you need to know for safe and successful babysitting. The students will receive their certification card and instructions to access a digital copy of the CABS student book at the end of class. Topics cover everything from getting started with your business to collaborating with parents and children, safety, safe sleep practices, caregiving, emergencies, and basic first aid. CABS will help set you up for babysitting success. Students must be present for the entire class and complete the core learning objectives to receive certification, valid for two years. Students attend this class independently and should come prepared with a notebook and pen.

Step into the kitchen arena for a day of baking, creativity, and friendly competition! In Cupcake Wars: Youth Edition, participants will roll up their sleeves to bake their own cupcakes from scratch. While the cupcakes cool, everyone will enjoy a fun Dinner break together. (Dinner provided by Ms. B) Then the real challenge begins—our Cupcake Decorating Wars! With a wide variety of edible decorations to choose from, youth will design, frost, and decorate their cupcakes in imaginative ways. From sprinkles and candies to colorful frosting and creative toppings, the possibilities are endless. Every child will be celebrated as a winner, with prizes awarded for creativity, effort, and flair. It’s a sweet blend of culinary arts, teamwork, and fun competition that ends with delicious results.

Classes will meet for three hours each class session. Students enrolling in Classroom Driver's Education should be within 2 months of turning 15 by the end of the last date of the Driver's Education Class. Students MUST BE 15 in order to take the permit test. PLEASE NOTE THE CHANGES TO THE PAYMENT PROCESS. THE REGISTRATION FEE HOLDS YOUR PARTICIPANTS' SPOT IN THE CLASS. Park, Play & Splash Join us for a fun-filled outdoor adventure designed for families with children ages 0–7! Park, Play & Splash is all about exploring, moving, and connecting in a relaxed, natural setting. Each week, we’ll gather at the Twitchel Park pavilion to enjoy engaging activities like group games, sensory play, storytime, and creative exploration—perfect for curious little learners.
