Forest Friends Pottery Workshop π¦π²π¦πEnrichmentStep into the woods and discover a world of creativity! Young artists will create their own charming Forest Friends pottery masterpiece featuring adorable woodland animals like foxes, bears, owls, raccoons, deer, hedgehogs, and more. Participants will paint and personalize their ceramic pieces while learning fun pottery-painting techniques. No experience is neededβjust bring your imagination! Our instructors will guide artists every step of the way as they transform their forest friend into a colorful keepsake they'll be proud to display. Cost includes all materials and instruction. At class, you will glaze your choice of one woodland creature. Projects will be taken off-site to be professionally fired and finished. Completed projects will be returned the following week. Pickup Information: Community Services will deliver finished projects to KidStop participants. Families of non-KidStop participants will be contacted when projects are ready for pickup at the Community Services office. Girls Basketball - Grade 6BasketballSixth Grade students will join the 7th-8th Grade Middle School Basketball Program. Students will participate in practices and a selection of games determined by coaches. Information regarding games to be communicated by coaches prior to event. Class registration will be by invitation only, and a passcode will be provided to participants prior to class enrollment. Home Alone!YouthIs your child ready for the independence of being home alone? Parents need to be sure their children have the skills and maturity to handle the responsibility safely. Whether for an hour after school or several hours a day during the summer, being trusted to be home alone can be a positive experience for a mature and well-prepared child. This class for children will address several topics relating to being βHome Alone,β including age guidelines, safe habits, house rules, after-school routines, phone calls and door knocks, dog emergencies, personal safety, handling the unexpected, gun safety, severe weather, fire safety, intruders, and basic first aid tips. Students attend this class independently, and parents are encouraged to review the information and discuss it with their child/children after class.2026 -
Instructional Swim LessonsOur swimming classes offer programs designed to teach individuals swimming techniques to feel safe in the water. We offer a variety of levels, starting at the basics and going all the way into Lifeguard and Water Safety Instruction training. We even have lessons for individuals with special needs or fear of the water on a one-on-one private basis. These classes are designed for students who would benefit from one-on-one instruction. This could include students who need additional instruction time, students with disabilities, students who have a difficult time in a group setting, or adult swimmers. Browse our class offerings, enroll online, and feel free to contact our Community Services office with any additional questions you may have.Enroll for one session at a time to allow the participant the opportunity to improve his/her swimming skills at his/her own pace. The enrollment should be for the CHILD as the participant, not the parent or guardian. This is a 'separating' class, where only the participant is allowed in the instruction space. Students and families are not allowed in any other are of the building while waiting for Karate, please be prompt for drop off and pick up at door #12 of Lindbergh Elementary. K-2nd grade students will ride a transfer bus from Lincoln Elementary to Lindbergh, then enter the building and go into the PAC.2026 -

Beam: Continue becoming comfortable on the medium/ high beam by jumping and pivoting. Start working on cartwheels on the laser beam.
