Learn how to decorate delicious spring-themed cookies using special decorating tools—no experience needed! While your beautiful cookies are drying, enjoy a spring art project you’ll get to take home and display. This class is all about creativity, connection, and celebrating the season together. You’ll leave with decorated cookies to share—and a work of art to enjoy! All supplies are included, so just bring your sunny personality!

Classes will meet for three hours each class session. Students enrolling in Classroom Driver's Education should be within 3 months of turning 15 by the end of the last date of the Driver's Ed Class. Students MUST BE 15 in order to take the permit test. Listed below are the four requirements to complete Driver's education successfully through Mille Lacs Driving Instruction. Attendance of all 30 hours of classroom instruction. NO behavioral issues during class time, prior to class start within the building, or during breaks. If behaviors occur, the instructor OR Community Services staff reserves the right to expel students from the course, which will result in forfeiture of fees. Completion of ALL classroom in-class work and homework. Full payment of course fee prior to class start date.

ECFE Out and About Get ready for outdoor fun with ECFE Out and About! Join Ms. Angela, one of our experienced early childhood educators, for a playful mix of directed activities like painting, hands-on projects, and open playground time. Each session is designed to spark creativity, build skills, and offer opportunities for families to connect and enjoy time together in the great outdoors. This class is part of our Early Childhood Family Education (ECFE) program—so parent or caregiver participation is expected and encouraged. It's a special time for you and your child to explore, learn, and grow side-by-side! Ages: 1–5 years (with a parent or caregiver) Instructor: Ms. Angela Location: Outdoor community spaces and playgrounds (varies by session) Registration: Required weekly unless full summer payment is made in advance. Weather Note: If there is a weather cancellation or a change in time or location, you will receive a text message from Community Services. What to Bring: Dress for the weather and outdoor play—things might get messy! Come curious, come playful, and come ready to make memories! Note: Older siblings up to age 7 are welcome to attend if they are able to participate actively and appropriately in class activities. ECFE+1 Age Group: 3-year-olds Overview: ECFE+1 is a unique early childhood class designed for families who want to provide their 3-year-old with additional classroom experience and socialization opportunities. This program blends the supportive, parent-child engagement of Early Childhood Family Education (ECFE) with the structured learning environment of a traditional preschool. Class Structure: Parent & Child Day: Once per week, parents attend with their child for an interactive ECFE session. This time includes guided play, early learning activities, and a parenting discussion facilitated by an early childhood educator. Parents will gain insights into child development and strategies to support learning at home. Preschool Day: On the second day each week, children attend independently, experiencing a preschool-style classroom with hands-on activities, peer interactions, and foundational learning experiences that build social-emotional and early academic skills. Sixth Grade students will join the 7th-8th Grade Middle School Basketball Program. Students will participate in practices and a selection of games determined by coaches. Information regarding games to be communicated by coaches prior to event. Skip dates listed follow district calendar, coaches will confirm and communicate any non-practice dates or changes in schedule. This opportunity will include strenuous workouts for kids with previous basketball experience. If you feel that your child does not meet this criteria, they have an opportunity to play with the Little Falls Youth Basketball Association. This class is ONLY for those who participated on the High School team during the previous gymnastics season. Class registration will be by invitation only, and a passcode will be provided to participants prior to class enrollment. It is designed to complement high school gymnastics with Summer conditioning, and is instructed by the Varsity coaching staff. PLEASE NOTE: Parents and siblings are not allowed in the gymnastics area during instruction time. The last day of each session will be a time for parents to come in and see the awesome skills their athlete has learned!

If you finished 4th grade and want to get a head start on band, or a (completed) 5th through 12th grade student looking to start band these lessons can help you be successful. For 5th grade through 12th grade students already in band this is a great way to move farther through the books or maybe learn a second instrument. With private lessons, you can explore new music, sharpen your skills, and build confidence—all while having fun. First time band students should sign up for 6 lessons. Current band students need to register for a minimum of 2 lessons. PLEASE NOTE: There are many sessions available. To make your search for the perfect time and date easier, you can filter your search to specific times, dates or days of the week. That will limit your results to best fit your family's needs, and make your enrollment process easier! The better you play, the more enjoyable music becomes.
