ScreeningAbout Early Childhood Screening Little Falls Schools has early childhood screening for all children between the ages of 3 and 5 years. The state of Minnesota recommends this at age 3 and requires this for kindergarten and preschool entrance. Early Childhood Screening is a quick and simple check of how your child is learning and growing. The screening includes a developmental assessment, social emotional questionnaire, vision and hearing tests, height and weight measurement and an immunization and health history review. The purpose of the FREE screening is to identify children who may need additional time and experiences to be ready for school. The sooner we get started, the more likely your child will begin school with the necessary skills to succeed. Three reasons to screen at age 3: 1. Screening can assist your child to be ready for school. 2. Any health or developmental concerns can be found earlier and help can be provided sooner. 3. Because screening is free, it's easy and it's good for your childCategory

Wrap AroundBefore and After Preschool Child CareOur Before and After Preschool Program is designed to provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children outside of their regular preschool hours. Whether your child is with us before school, after school, or both, they’ll have the opportunity to participate in a variety of enriching activities that encourage social interaction, creativity, and skill development. In the morning, children will ease into their day with quiet activities, story time, and opportunities for free play, helping them start their preschool time feeling calm, prepared, and ready to learn. In the afternoon, after preschool, we offer a balance of active play and structured activities—arts and crafts, hands-on learning experiences, outdoor time (weather permitting), group games, and quiet reading or rest time as needed. Our program emphasizes flexibility while maintaining a consistent routine, ensuring that each child’s individual needs are met. Because this program is part of Little Flyers Child Care, your child will benefit from the same high-quality care, staffing, and safety standards that guide all of our childcare offerings. If your contract is approved, you will receive a confirmation email from administration along with additional paperwork to complete your enrollment. To ensure your child’s spot remains secure in our program: Payments are due weekly. Updated schedules are required to help us plan for staffing and activities. Our goal is to make before and after preschool care a seamless, enjoyable extension of your child’s day—one that supports their growth, curiosity, and well-being. **please note: Non-School day options will be sent out at a later date. Availablity for non-school days will be determined by available staff and space on any of the particular days.Preschool Wrap Around Care 25-26 Wrap Around Care Site
