Running For AdultsAdult RecreationRunning 101: Get fit this spring by joining Running 101. We'll take you through the steps to get started and improve your current fitness. Walk and run your way to a healthier you! No experience is necessary. This program includes not only running and walking, but adds exercises for strength, mobility and flexibility. Participants start with walking and jogging. By the end of the program, you will be able to complete a 5K run. You should be able to walk 20 minutes comfortably before class begins.Running 101 participants are invited to participate in optional workouts on Wednesdays.Class may change location for variety in routes/workout, which will be communicated by the instructor.Class fee includes workout calendar and T-shirt! Running 201:Walk and run your way to a healthier you! This class takes Running 101 a step further. ScreeningAbout Early Childhood Screening Little Falls Schools has early childhood screening for all children between the ages of 3 and 5 years. The state of Minnesota recommends this at age 3 and requires this for kindergarten and preschool entrance. Early Childhood Screening is a quick and simple check of how your child is learning and growing. The screening includes a developmental assessment, social emotional questionnaire, vision and hearing tests, height and weight measurement and an immunization and health history review. The purpose of the FREE screening is to identify children who may need additional time and experiences to be ready for school. The sooner we get started, the more likely your child will begin school with the necessary skills to succeed. Three reasons to screen at age 3: 1. Screening can assist your child to be ready for school. 2. Any health or developmental concerns can be found earlier and help can be provided sooner. 3. Each session offers a fresh theme to keep things interesting, but the real beauty is in the variety. Whether you’re drawn to trays that serve, mugs that hug, bowls that hold it all together, or seasonal décor that makes your space shine, there’s always something waiting to be brought to life—by you. No experience? No problem. This isn’t about perfection; it’s about expression (with a side of laughter and maybe a little glaze-induced confidence). Come solo, bring a friend, or make it your new monthly ritual. Kids are welcome, too! Hosted at Cary’s on the Course, where the lighting does you favors, the atmosphere is effortlessly relaxing, and food and drinks are just an order away—because creativity pairs well with a good meal.
